Ok maybe some explaining is needed from me. I have settled in at my new home, but have been fighting off a mountain of paperwork. And none of it can tap for Red mana either. But I have taken time out to write an article since things have to get moving again otherwise this site may wrinkle up and die. Today I will be addressing Red and all its faults. I mean all its wondrous glory. It is the same structure as always and if you like White, Blue or Black those articles have already been done so use the helpful search functions on this site to find them. What decks are common place in Red? Well I am glad you asked. Red decks tend to be focused on the rush strategy. Red also does a nice sideline in destroying artefacts and using their mostly unique magic of direct damage. When Red is paired with other colours it tends to be the lesser theme in most decks acting as the support colour while the major game winning is done by the other colour or colours. This is mostly due to the reckless nature of red and also the fact that a sprinkling of burn spells goes a long way. How is Red evil? Well it seems quiet obvious really, red is impulsive and reckless and does whatever it feels without cause or concern for the results. Red is often too far down the evil track before it works out the mess it has gotten itself into, but by then it has lost a lot of care for its original aim and so continues ploughing onwards towards whatever fate has in store for it. How is Red good? Red is good because it keeps balance from the world shifting to be too far in any particular colours favour because it adds the dimension of unpredictability. Also because Red does what it wants when it wants to, if red feels like doing something good <often to get something in return> it helps the overall cause of life. What does Red believe in? Passion, Power, Fury, Fire, Stone, Goblins, Savagery. What does Red see in it’s allies. In Green, Red sees savagery and fury. But also strength and the raw essence of nature. In Black, Red sees, power, passion and desire. These things are the seeds to strength for one person rather than just having a humble dwelling among the rocks. Why does Red hate it’s enemies? Red dislikes White because it represents order and structure. These things suppress passion and lusts that Red craves. Red hates Blue because Blue is knowledge and planning and again like with White Red feels it can not be free. Who in popular culture is represented in the colour Red? Zoro. At least in Mask of Zoro, he is heroic and passionate but is also doing it out of his anger towards the Spanish. Jermey Clarkson. He is a bit of a dick and does what he wants, and tends to lean towards power.
